Joburg Digital Hub is a talent shaping centre based in Johannesburg , South Africa. We provide critical knowledge and scarce skills demanded by the digital economy. We pursue innovative technology and development strategies that address skills development challenges of South Africa.
The Hub was previously registered as National Broadcast Institute (NABI), a non-profit digital television and broadcast media training and development organisation. NABI evolved from the Youth Film Culture, an audio-visual training and development programme that was founded in the year 2000 by Mmabatho Mogomotsi and Sello Molefe. The Youth Film Culture was initially funded in 2001 by the Nelson Mandela Children's Fund (NMCF) and the Media , Advertising, Publishing, Printing & Packaging Sector Education and Training Authority (MAPPPSETA).
Joburg Digital Hub is a MICTSETA accredited training provider. In partnership with Joburgtv, we have successfully implemented Learnership and Internship programmes since 2015.
Our Multimedia Internship Programme is a response to the national call for job creation within the creative and technology sectors.
